Features: A unique forced side scrolling, timing based stealth game with three different levels with unique hazards. Swap between three lanes and use timing to your advantage to slip past to get to your dog!

The Story: This was my friends and I's entry for the Global Game jam. Since it wasn't a ranked competition we wanted to try and experiment with a unique form of gameplay. With 3 programmers, one artist and no dedicated designer, we wanted to play around with a bunch of ideas in an extremely minimal input system.

The entire game is played with three buttons; up, down, and hide. When the hide key is not pressed down your character will walk forward. The up and down keys allow you to switch between the three lanes. There are hazards to avoid like cars, police (with line of sight), helicopter spotlights and cats. Getting hit by any of these is game over and restarts the level, so you have to use the hide key strategically to avoid getting hit. However, your parents are also trying to find you, and staying still for too long will give them enough time to catch up to you and also lead to a game over.

As with my other gamejam entries with multiple coders, I did not create any one particular element, instead I either made the base version of some elements that the other coders then updated as our requirements changed, or I updated some of their elements as  the requirements changed.

Outside of that I found and implemented all of the audio (opensource and rushed), as well as actually designed and built all the levels using the art provided by the artist and the code provided by me and the other two programmers.
